Empowering Youth Through Skills
SkillED Academies is a transformative initiative powered by The Digital School, one of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and led in collaboration with Capital H and CERT.
It is designed to equip 5 million youth with the skills they need to build resilient, self-sufficient futures.
SkillED targets underserved communities where youth face high unemployment, limited access to education, and an urgent need for practical, job-aligned training.
The initiative offers accessible, scalable programs across eight high-demand sectors—agriculture, sanitation, security, hospitality, retail, warehousing, maintenance, and digital technology. Through a combination of vocational training, digital literacy, soft skills, and career preparation, SkillED enables participants to secure entry-level employment, launch entrepreneurial ventures, or continue their learning journey.

Mission
To unlock opportunity through skill-based education — empowering youth to build self-reliant, resilient, and thriving futures

Vision
To bridge the gap between education and employment by delivering accessible, industry-aligned training that creates real pathways to meaningful careers and entrepreneurship.
